Editing the anamatic

Throughout this lesson, we started editing our footage of the annimated storyboard filming using final cut pro. We selected the track and inserted it into final cut pro and created a rush bin. We found it easier to create different bins for some of the different scenes, such as the scenes with the band become one seperate bin. Then we listened to the track and pointed out the sounds which stood out and placed a red marker there. Then we would insert the shot numbers in order.

However, we decided during the editing that we should include a sequence of the band in the instrumental at the beginning of the track as well as later on. We included a mixture of shorter and longer shots of the band and the alarm clock, with short cuts which fitted in with the beat of the song. I think this was a good choice because this means the audience is shown more and the whole point of a music video is to sell the artist or the band.
